My name is Pippin and I'm a black and tan, standard dachshund.... Well I expect you realised that from all the pictures Ju put up there. Ju's the human I live with, by the way, and she's responsible for that bit of doggerel as well - hmmm doggerel for a dog! I like that - I think she's rather proud of it, or she can't think of anything better, so I don't like to criticise, but I do think she could have made it a bit more flattering. I'm nearly 14 months old now and Ju and I live in Coton which is a village just outside Cambridge in England.
Wow! What an effort its been persuading Ju to help me update my page; she's been so busy in the garden the last few months, the real garden that is, not the virtual one on the other pages. I'll let you into a secret, the real one isn't nearly so neat and tidy as she makes it look in the virtual one; I tyr to help but I'm always being told off for digging in the wrong place or sitting on the flowers or chewing the plants.... It's very tricky this gardening business!

Ju has got a new... Umm, one of those little box type things humans hold up to their faces and point at things... What? Oh, she says its called a camera. When she points it at me I always want to have a look and a sniff at it, but then she gets all irritated and says I'm spoiling the picture! Anyway she's got a new one which she can carry around when we go for walks so we thought you might like to see some of the places we walk to round here. Do you see the picture with the white dog sort of creatures in it? I suppose they're sort of dogs 'cos they go on four legs, not two like humans, but Ju says they are sheep and I mustn't play with them. I did try a couple of times, but she got very cross and they weren't very playful, just stood in a huddle and looked at me which wasn't much fun. Actually the sheep have gone now, but there are much bigger things in the next field to where they were. Apparently they're cattle , young cattle Ju says, and we have to be careful 'cos they're a bit skittish. I'm rather glad really 'cos the first time I saw them I was having a bit of a sniff around in the field where the sheep had been and suddenly noticed this huge herd of ginormous creatures thundering down on me. Was I glad the fence was between them and me! |

| We went down to the river today but it was very wet, not like the picture at all. Ju has this uncanny knack of always choosing to start out on our walk just before the rain gets really heavy and to get back just as the rain stops! Its been damp all day today but she still managed to pick a time when it was really raining. Considering Cambridge is supposed to be one of the driest parts of England its really pretty clever of her! | ![]() |

Well thanks for visiting my page, if you'd like to send me a message there's a form you can use, I'd love to hear from you. Sounds like Ju might be getting my supper so I've got to go and keep my eyes on her! If I sit on this chair I can look through a hatch into the kitchen and see what she's doing up high, clever eh! Byeee!
